About us

Athena Education Support CIC was formed in March 2019 to improve access to education, training and learning support and provide opportunities for personal (including social, emotional and mental health) progression for children, young people, adults and families who face difficult circumstances and reduced life chances due to living in areas of deprivation in Norfolk. The organisation also provides training and support to key sector organisations, such as Health, Social Care, Local Authorities, Independent and Voluntary sectors involved in the delivery and support of specialist needs such as Autism, Learning Disabilities and ADHD for children and adults of all ages.

As a registered alternative educational social enterprise company, AES follows a therapeutic and holistic model in meeting the social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) and special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) needs of vulnerable children, young people, adults and families.  The company offers both traded and community support services to meet the needs of our beneficiaries.
